Easter.

Here's a cute piccie of Luca, Amy and Tanya picnicing at the top of a slide during a day out in early spring.

We took a train into the Roya Valley and stopped off at Breil for a picnic in the park, long walk and ice-cream on the way back to the station. Also had a close encounter with some ducks which shimmered in the sunlight but wouldn't keep still for long enough to be photoed. We resisted giving them our leftover salty foccacia and made a mental note to remember to take something more bird-friendly next time.

The following pictures are from a lovely organised walk which took place on Easter Monday. It was about 5km long and followed a path along the river bed in Cuneo. At the end we had a picnic and then there were activities for the kids which involved making their own ladybird wings followed by setting free live ladybirds in a didactic garden. Great family fun!
