Wirral July 2008 - wet, windy and wonderful!
This year we managed three weeks in Wirral but without Manolo who was missed by everyone, especially Luca. As everybody probably already knows, the weather in July was less than perfect but we still managed to get out and about and do most of the things we'd planned. Luca was disappointed not to be able to play on West Kirby beach in his cozzie - fingers crossed for next year!). There were a few sightings of the sun in our first week so we headed straight for the garden to admire all Mum and Dad's hard work and make use of the toys lent by Laurence and family.

Luca races past on Thomas's old tractor which is a bit on the small side but doesn't stop him from putting in a few kilometers whenever he jumps in the seat!
Amy loves Nanna's rose bush. Unfortunately, she's more interested in picking off the petals than sniffing the fragrant flowers!

It's never easy getting toddlers to sit still for a photo, let alone have them smiling into the lense. So far I think we have one decent photo of me with all three children (Amy and Tanya a month or so old) and one with all five of us (Luca not smiling). Needless to say, the day we manage a snapshot of the whole family with smiles will be the day we crack open the champagne!
To be continued........
