Luca's Birthday

This year Luca decided he didn't want a party (he's not one for crowds of people) but chose instead to go with his Mum, Dad and sisters to the Railway Museum. It was well worth the hour's car journey; lots of old engines outside and two great tracks inside with umpteen electric trains and trams, countless glass cases housing every kind of model train imaginable. I did a lot of filming and as usual forgot to take more photos but here's a couple.

Every year I try to make a cake with Luca's current passion in mind. Since receiving "Walking with Dinosaurs" dvd and fab pop-up dinosaur book from his uncle Andrew last year Luca's become a budding paleontologist - hence this year' creation.
