Animal Magic cont.

Three days after going to the aquarium we had our annual trip to Chester Zoo. Managed to see all the old favourites but the highlight of the day was definitely the newcomers......

The cute and cuddly(!) Spectacled Bear.

And now for the real monsters...........!

Tanya is dwarfed by one of the zoo's dinosaurs (which, when she first saw them, she really believed they were real)

"Mummy, Mummy real dinosaurs!!!"

This nasty looking beast had the even nastier habit of spitting at unsuspecting onlookers.  Although, truth be told, the kids couldn't get enough of it!

And just around the corner another dinosaur with an even more powerful stream of saliva (Uncle Andrew keeps his distance in the background while Tom, Luca, Melissa and Rebecca vie for position for a soaking!)

"Mummy, I don't think that little boy should be doing that."

Luca, Mel and Becky get as close as they dare to Mr T. Rex.

"Considering how old he is he's got good teeth, hasn't he?!"

Chester Zoo is going to seem a little tame next time we go. Someone had better start a "bring back the dinosaurs" petition, quick!
